Concerts and teenagers, toddlers and tea parties! There's never a dull moment at the Taliaferro house! Since Mira now lives with us during the school year then during the summer she lives with her mom. We get her back home every other weekend and a week in the middle of summer. That week was this one. I don't think we "slacked" on the entertainment for her!!! Usually we go on a vacation somewhere, but we decided to stay home this summer. This week Jason invested in an a projector and he mad an outdoor movie screen...so we had movie night in our backyard! then Mira had a friend stay the night, then the next day we went to a concert "owl city" that her and her friends LOVE, then she had a day off and managed to catch strep throat (ewww.....) quick dr's visit and rx, then she was feeling better and I took 4 teenagers to Worlds of Fun for the day ( I wasn't allowed to walk with them, apparently I am now EMBARRASSING...so I hit up Oceans of fun next door :) then they all stayed the night, we went our for Chinese food and we headed to the lake by our house to swim, then the new release of Harry Potter movie (which Mira is OBSESSED with) was released and she had a daddy daughter date night! Now tonight she is going to stay the night with a couple friends and tomorrow were school clothes shopping! WHEW what a week with her!
