**sigh**

Welcome to the 2011-2012 school year....; it's off to a rocky start, but were off and going! Of course I love my students this year, so far I only have 10 on my caseload  :) but I am sure that will soon change....  I love going to work every day and I love what I do...... but man oh man it is A LOT of work! I am tired, exhausted and cranky some nights because I have no energy left to do anything. Mira started her 8th grade year and is doing great so far, she even has one of my best friends as her English teacher ( I secretly told her to embarrass Mira and make her come out of her shell)!!! Ava has entered preschool and actually it's her last year of it. I am entering my 4th year teaching and so far so good! Jason is still working for P1 and has been out at Ft.Riley for the past 4 months running work, they are getting ready to build a new hospital out there and he will be working up there for sometime I hope.

Hope all is well in your worlds and hopefully my next post will have more ENERGY to go along with it :)

coming to an end....

Dear summer 2011:

This has been a great summer. Today you end and we have had a great run. I will hold your memories near and dear to my heart. I love all that summer brings, outdoor movie nights, concerts, grilling, kids playing until late hours at night, sleeping in, lunch dates, time to relax, swimming, laying out, laughing, crafting, planning, home projects and staycations. My family has enjoyed your summer lazy days and now we must get back into our routine and get in the swing of another great school year on the horizon. This is going to be a great year ahead. Mira will be entering 8th grade next week, Ava will start her last year of preschool next week, Jason still works in junction city and I will begin my 3rd year of teaching. I look foward to all that is coming but I am sad to see this summer leave..... until next summer.
