On This Day I Married My Best Friend: Happy Anniversary

You Just Keep on Loving Me:
No matter what I look like, whether pretty or plain you see.
When I'm all dressed up or in Pj's, You just keep on loving me.
Sometimes I'm happy and cheerful, and other times grumpy and sad.
Your absolute love never waivers. Whether I'm grouchy or glad.
Sometimes I try to change you; and sometimes I criticize.
But I feel something melting within me, When I see all the love in your eyes.
Your tolerance is endless, however I choose to be.
Having my love makes you happy, so you just keep on loving me.
And that is why my dear Jason, whatever else I do. One thing is sure,
No matter what, I'll just keep on loving you!

WOW time sure has flown by. Jason and I have been married for 4 years already! I wouldn't change a thing...well maybe a few things, na just kidding! We have been together for 8 years and married for 4. July 23rd 2005 was one of the best days of my life. I loved everything about it...except the temperature. (If you were there you need no explanation on this..ha ha) We have built a great home and a great foundation to raise our kids on and I hope the next 4 are just as great!

to my wonderful husband, Jason,

I want to wish you a happy 4th anniversary! I want you to know that I love you more than words can say and I hope you know this from the bottom of my heart. You are the rock that keeps our family going and I hope you realize this. I wouldn't be the person I am today without you and I hope the same goes for you. I love waking up to you every single day and I hope I always get the honor to wake up next to you for the next 50 years. My favorite charasterics of you are: Your honesty and trustfulness, your wonderful spirit, your dedication to our family and our kids, your desire to provide, your willingness to be equal in everything we do, your inate ability to calm any situation down by just a touch or a look or a hug, your relaxing go with the flow attitude when I get all wound up, the simple way you live and most of all I love and cherish your heart. Happy 4th Anniversary my love.

Love, Amber

Summer 2009

Hello All:

This summer has really flown by. I was thinking today about all the things we have done this summer and I truly couldn't believe it. I hope everyone is having a great summer as well. I do see the light at the end of the "tunnel of fun" (aka summer) and school is just around the corner for our household. Here is a list of all the memorable fun things the Taliaferro's have done this summer:

Vacationed in Camdenton Missourri in the Ozarks, Vacationed in Winona Minnesota visiting Uncle Aj and Aunt Kyla, visited Grandma Kathy in Iowa for the Father's Day picnic/Family Reunion, Ava went to Coach and Bobbie's (Amber's dad and stepmom's) to stay for Coach's Birthday, Enjoyed a 4th fo July party at our new house enjoying the Go 4th Celelbration at Lake Shawnee, Ava turned 2, Amber turned.....29! Mira went to an awesome "Back to Nature" summer camp, We moved from one house to another accross town, Amber went from teaching at 2 schools spliting her day to 1 school all day next year, not sure if she will be teaching 1st grade or 2nd and 3rd grade Special Education, Amber will be starting her Masters in Special Education in August 2009, potty training a little 2 year old, and last but not least we are trying to survive the horrible economic status we live in right now...... BUSY BUSY BUSY summer.

Here are the things we still need to get done in the next 2 weeks: Clean out the garage, have a garage sale, clean out closets, shampoo carpets, remodel the shed, finish hanging up all the pictures in the new house, finish potty training, lose the "binky" for Ava, decorate my new classroom.....oh and the list goes on!

Pray for the economy to change and we hope all is well with all of our friends and family.
