Grandma and Grandpa Taliaferro's backyard. BEAUTIFUL!
2 seconds later she took off running away from me.....the story of my life!
Daddy reading Ava her night time story...it's usually the same one that she picks out, night after night after night :)

We hope that everyone has had a healthy and safe August. As it winds down and another September sneaks upon us we pray for each and every one of our friends and family to enjoy every moment of every day.

summer has ended for the Taliaferro's:

Well Summer has come and gone already for us! I can't believe how time flies...... Here are a look at a few things we have done this past few weeks. These days are so much fun for the girls and I! We really just play and swim and hang out all day . I know Mira had a great summer with swimming lessons, camp, her first crush, sleepovers, ice cream lots and lots of ice cream, late nights, talking on the phone, getting a new bedroom, and really overall just growing up into a beautiful and talented young lady... she's going to be 11 this November!!! I just remember her as this little girl who loved to dance and tell jokes with her sweet little voice...oh the memories!!!

Ava has had a great summer too! She is of course just 1 and really adventouous! It is so humerous to watch her and she has no concept of "spacial areas" she thinks that her chunky little legs and booty will fit into every corner and under everything... so cute. Although this has been a very trying summer for mommy and daddy, Ava has been cutting lots of little teeth this summer and boy oh boy it has been tough! She is getting into everything she is not suppossed to and she has learned how to throw tantrums... but hey what are the toddler years for right?

Jason and I are pretty much the same, no major changes this summer! I do start my LAST semester before achieving my bachelors degree in Elementary Education with a Minor in K-6 Special Education. I am student teaching at a local elementary school in first grade! I start this wednesday!!!! Yeah, Hope to learn lots!! Jason is still working on building 3 new buildings at Fort Riley in Junction City KS. He says these 100 degree days are starting to wear on him! That's enough rambeling for now... enjoy a look at the Taliaferro's 2008 Summer Pictures! Mira in Swimming Lessons --She's moved up to Advanced Level 5 !

This smile is what keeps me going every day! She loves to giggle... so girly!
Jason and Mira do a lot of relaxing in the pool........ lazy bums!
Ava's first adventure with watermelon..... what fun. This actually took over an hour!

Cooper and Macey stopped by for a visit last weekend! We miss them so much!
Ava's friends from mommy's work-- they are all 6 weeks apart.... they are sitting in order.
Mira painting her new room-- pea pod green! It's really pretty -she picked all the colors out!
We gave an old bookshelf new life.... beautiful!
The finished product.. polka dots everywhere! She loves it!
